Once Upon a Time, Ani
Once upon a time far far away on the edge of Anatolia, on the banks of the Ahurian river, lay a city. Ani was not only the capital of Greater Armenian Kingdom but also one of the largest cities in the Middle East, with over 100 000 population. It was hailed as the city of 1001 churches. As she was in the middle of The Silk Road, caravans from far far away came here to continue their journey deep into Europen or Chinese mega cities. That mighty city almost disappeared from the skin of the world but still lives in the heart of all Armenians.
